Hey there! We're Neo Vision Writing Club: your one-stop writing resource for all things related to NCT/WayV fan fiction.
The mission of this network is to unite writers of all levels from across the fandom who are interested in honing their craft and meeting others in the community.
Our Twitter Mission
The NVWC server is only as good as the number of writers engaging in its discussions and resources. The more responses to questions we receive, the more rich this community becomes. By establishing a Twitter account, we hope to encourage more traffic on the server and thus more diversity in questions, responses, and advice.
There will be 3 types of posts made on our Twitter:
we will indiscriminately RT SFW fic and commission postswe will make announcements concerning questions, requests, and resources posted on the server (ex: "question about motivation in the server")we will repost Twitter writing memes (with credit if able)
We will not:
tweet anything in any way that does not fall into the above three categories
NVWC Twitter Guidelines
RETWEETING FICS AND COMMISSION POSTS:
We will indiscriminately (1) like and (2) retweet your fic and nothing else. Same thing goes for commission posts.
In order for your fic to be retweeted, you must post it in the discord server. If we have not retweeted your fic within 24 hours, you may either (a) message the admins/mods or (b) DM the Twitter. If you do not post to the discord channel #completed-works, we will not retweet your fic.
Commission posts will be retweeted only if they are posted to the #commissions-board channel.
Concerning (b): Please do not attempt to engage the admins/mods in conversation on the NVWC account. Our personal Twitters are public and available for such purposes. This Twitter account is a resource for updates, announcements, and circulation.
Your fic MUST be:
SFW (rated G or T)
or not including any sexual content
Indiscriminate means:
Irrespective of popularity, tags, or ship.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Many server members do not actively check the server. We desire diversity from the writers responding to questions — this way, the server does not become a space where only a few users are seen as authorities, and those asking questions are able to receive a diversity of perspectives.
We will tweet a post regarding questions to encourage interaction on the Discord. If the question does not receive answers within 5+ hours, we may retweet the post.
This function is in the hope that it will encourage members to look and answer as they feel inspired.
We will not be detailed in our announcements in order to (1) not publicize any possibly private information the question-asker may not want publicized, (2) respect our own rule of not carrying conversations from the server into outside spaces, and (3) discourage engagement with the tweet and encourage engagement with the question in the server itself, as this Twitter account is not intended for interaction.
REPOSTING WRITING MEMES:
Anything posted to the #prompt-meme channel on the discord will be reposted. Only one meme will be reposted per 24 hours.
OTHER:
We will follow back on this Twitter account. We will not interact with our followers except to like and retweet fic and commission posts.
Anyone may follow this account regardless of membership in the Discord server.
